Molecular formula: C₉H₂₈O₁₅N₃P₅, relative molecular weight 573.2. Soluble in acidic solutions, it forms polynuclear complexes with steel ions in water. Easily dispersible in water, it suppresses crystallization and growth of calcium carbonate and sulfate scales, delivering outstanding scale inhibition performance.
