Sodium Tripolyphosphate is widely used in water softening, heavy-duty laundry detergents, automatic dishwashing products, drilling fluid cleaning and liquid livestock feed supplements. It acts as an excellent peptizer, emulsifier and dispersant, and also serves as a stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide solutions.
In the food industry, it preserves seafood, meat and poultry by improving freshness and moisture retention. It is also used as a polyanion cross-linker in polysaccharide drug delivery systems and a sealant for leakage repair of farm ponds.
